“This is a standard procedure to ensure smooth traffic around the C Hexagon. Visitors can return tomorrow,” said New Delhi Deputy Commissioner Devesh Mahala.
Police confirmed that night patrols have been intensified, with extra forces deployed in sensitive zones across the city.

2. Security reinforced at key locations

Security measures have been strengthened across New Delhi, with paramilitary forces deployed at critical sites. Senior police officials have held meetings with district heads to coordinate action.
“All Deputy Commissioners of Police are personally monitoring their districts to maintain law and order,” a senior official told PTI.

3. Pakistan denies Indian media reports

Pakistan’s Foreign Office rejected Indian media claims of multiple attacks on Indian territory, calling them “entirely unfounded” and part of “reckless propaganda.”
In a late-night statement, Pakistan warned that such reports only worsen regional peace and stability.
