Either the address on the Aadhaar card is wrongly printed or is outdated. In both cases, you can change the address on the Aadhaar card.
UIDAI has provided an important facility to those wishing to change their address in the Aadhaar card. While the first people had to go to the center for this, had to go to long lines and wait, you can now change the address of your Aadhaar card at home. UIDAI has given this information to Aadhaar cardholders in a tweet. Through this tweet, people have also been told about the process. First, you have to visit UIDAI's website https://uidai.gov.in/. Here you need to go to the My Adhaar tab and click Update your Adhaar and then update your address online. Now a new page will open on the screen. You need to click on the proceed update address. Then a new page will open on the screen. Here you have to click on the Send OTP by entering the Aadhaar number and captcha. Enter the OTP on your registered number and click login. You will see the option of address proof via Update address. Fill in your new address information by choosing this option. Now you need to complete the process by clicking and uploading the color photo of the documents mentioned from mobile. Now there will be verification of your application, after which the address on your Aadhaar card will be changed. The new Aadhaar card will get you in a few days by post.
