Indian PM Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden will have a virtual gathering on Monday in front of the 2+2 exchange. The last gathering between PM Modi and President Biden was held in March alongside other Quad pioneers. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) declared the Modi-Biden meeting and said that it will "empower the two sides to proceed with their ordinary and significant level commitment focused on additional fortifying the two-sided thorough worldwide vital organization."
According to MEA, The virtual gathering will empower the two sides to proceed with their ordinary and undeniable level of commitment focused on additional fortifying the reciprocal Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.
President Biden and Prime Minister Modi will examine participation on a scope of issues including finishing the Covid-19 pandemic, countering the environmental emergency, fortifying the worldwide economy, and maintaining a free, open, rules-based global request to support security and a majority rules system, said the White House in a media discharge.
Conversation on the Indo-Pacific area
The pioneers will progress through continuous discussions about the improvement of an Indo-Pacific Economic Framework and conveying a top-notch foundation.
According to the White House, President Biden will raise the Russia-Ukraine battle at the gathering. "Meetings on the results of Russia's severe conflict against Ukraine and relieving its undermining sway on worldwide food supply and product markets will be talked about," said the White House.
Biden might raise India's stand on Ukraine's emergency
The virtual gathering comes amidst some anxiety in Washington over India's situation on the Ukraine emergency as well as its choice to obtain limited Russian oil.
