A new feature has been added to Paytm Payments Bank for the benefit of its clients. Facilities like UPI Lite on iOS, Credit Card on UPI, and Split Bill will now be offered for Paytm UPI (UPI).
The National Payments Corporation of India provided UPI to Paytm Payments Bank in February 2023 to help with small transactions. As a result, about 6 million users have used this function.
According to the new feature-
Users using the Paytm app now have the option to link their RuPay credit card with their UPI ID, thanks to the bank's Paytm service. Users can create buddy groups and share their bills within the group using the new split bill option. Users can also tag all payments made on Paytm. This allows for the constant viewing of all payments via a tag.
Chairman of Paytm Payments Bank Vijay Shekhar Sharma stated, "We continue to innovate in India while protecting Paytm UPI and empowering users." He said we added numerous features to the Paytm app, including split billing, Paytm tags, and optional UPI IDs.
UPI Lite was launched in February.
Let us inform you that Paytm frequently updates its features to make it simpler for users. Paytm already made UPI payments simple for its users. Paytm introduced UPI Lite in February of last year. It was claimed to make payments simpler and solve the issue of persistent payment failure. Users can use this to make payments of up to Rs 200 without entering a PIN. Additionally, Rs 2000 can be added twice to UPI Lite in addition to this. This allows for an addition of Rs 4000 every day.
