Reliance Jio launched its first laptop in India. The laptop's features and price are available on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The notebook costs Rs. 19,500 and is promoted as a Jio Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 11.6 Inch Netbook.
Although it is now out for sale, not everyone can purchase it. In the GeM platform, only government agencies may make purchases. This Jio laptop will be available to the general public near Diwali. The JioBook is already on display at the sixth India Mobile Congress (IMC), which is taking place right now.
Reliance Jio Laptop Features
>> The Jio laptop comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, according to the information provided on the Government e-Marketplace website. ABS plastic is used to create the chassis. JioOS, the company's operating system, is used on the laptop.
>> According to the page's specifications sheet, the Jio laptop has 2GB of LPDDR4X Memory. The laptop does not support RAM expansion. Instead, 32GB of eMMC storage is integrated with the RAM.
>> Speaking about the screen, it is an 11.6-inch HD LED-backlit anti-glare screen on the Jio laptop. The laptop's screen has a 1366 x 768-pixel resolution. Additionally, a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, and an HDMI port are among the ports on the gadget. However, it does not include any USB Type-C ports. However, a microSD card slot is accessible.
>> Wi-Fi 802.11ac is supported on the Jio laptop for wireless networking. Moreover, the laptop has Bluetooth connection and Bluetooth 5.2 out of the box. Moreover, 4G mobile broadband connectivity is supported.
>> Two internal speakers and microphones are included with the Jio laptop. In addition, the laptop comes with a standard-sized keyboard and a multi-gesture touchpad.
>> In terms of battery, it has a capacity of 55.1–60Ah and can give power for up to 8 hours. The device has a one year manufacturer warranty and weighs 1.2 kg.
