The Delhi population has received some wonderful news from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). You won't need to wait longer at the station to use the Delhi Metro. The only gateway through which you may buy Delhi Metro tickets from now on is the one operated by Indian Railways Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a subsidiary of Indian Railways.

Officials recently announced a partnership between IRCTC and DMRC to launch the "One India, One Ticket" concept. The change aims to provide travellers with a seamless and hassle-free experience when using different means of transportation.

A release stated that "IRCTC and Delhi DMRC have signed a strategic note of understanding (MoU) to increase convenience for passengers." DMRC can order metro QR code tickets on the IRCTC portal. As part of the "One India-One Ticket" effort, this ground-breaking partnership aims to implement QR code-based ticketing for DMRC services through the IRCTC platform.

Now you will be able to reserve tickets for Delhi Metro.

With this strategy, customers who purchase tickets for trains, planes, or buses online through the IRCTC platform can now make DMRC reservations.
