Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has started working on its next flagship lineup. The OnePlus 8 Pro has now been listed on Geekbench, and the listing has confirmed that the smartphone is going to get 12GB RAM and Android 10 updates. The listing unveiled that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and will be given Kona codename. Rumors suggest that the OnePlus 8 series will have three devices, and these three phones include OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8 Lite. The new leaked OnePlus 8 has seen a glimpse of the features and specifications of the smartphone.

The OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Lite will have a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. At the same time, the Pro variant can offer a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display offering a resolution of 1440×3140 pixels. The device is going to get a punch-hole front camera. The Pro and standard variant will have a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate while the Lite version will come with a 90Hz refresh rate. Snapdragon 865 mobile platform and X55 5G modem will be placed in the upcoming OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro phones for performance. The device will have 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. However, the OnePlus 8 Lite can be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 SoC, and the device can get 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage.

It is noteworthy that the OnePlus 8 will have a 64-megapixel primary camera with aperture f/2. 1.6. Also, the phone will have a telephoto lens with a 10x hybrid zoom and an ultra-wide-angle lens. However, the OnePlus 8 PRO will also have a fourth camera that can be a 3D ToF sensor. The OnePlus 8 Lite will have a triple rear camera setup with a 48 megapixel f/2. There will be a lens with a 1.8 aperture that will come with phase-detection autofocus. Additional, there will also be an ultra-wide camera of 8 megapixels, a 2 megapixels depth sensor. OIS and EIS can only support the rear camera lens in the OnePlus 8 series. The OnePlus 8 series can have a glass back design that will be made dust and water resistance. Talking about the software, the phone will work on Android 10 OS, and the phone will also be given an in-display fingerprint sensor. Now talk about the battery, OnePlus 8, and 8 Lite will get a 4,000mAh battery and will be given 30W fast charging. The Pro variant will have a 4,500mAh battery that will support 35W fast charging.

The OnePlus 8 can be launched for CNY 3,699 (approximately Rs 37,500), while the OnePlus 8 PRO price can start at CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs 51,000). Moreover, the OnePlus 8 Lite will be priced at CNY 2,999 (around Rs 30,400). OnePlus can take the curtain off the OnePlus 8 series in the second quarter of 2020.
