How Safe Is Ordering Food: It was recently reported that a 19-year-old pizza delivery boy coronavirus positive was found in Delhi. Since then, 72 families of South Delhi, who had taken packets from this delivery boy, have been asked to keep themselves in isolation. Even though the restaurant and food delivery companies are promising safety and caution during the Coronavirus, it is still natural for people to be concerned. Any contact or touch can cause the transmission of germs, even infecting you. Many restaurants have also introduced contactless delivery to ensure safety.

Is it well-off to order or bring food from outside?

Food delivery is always associated with a big risk, not just at the time of coronavirus crisis but also in normal days. People are still confused about ordering food from outside. First of all, it is important to understand that the coronavirus does not spread by eating. It is a respiratory virus that spreads from one person to another. People have coronavirus when they come in contact with an infected surface, place, or human being.

However, major health bodies have issued guidelines to ensure safety, under which the risk of infecting another virus is very low when preparing food and through containers or packages. However, the risk of contamination and transmission of the virus may be from the person who is delivering delivery to you. Nevertheless, ordering food from outside does not necessarily require you to be infected with the coronavirus. Because caution and sanitization can only put the risk of coronavirus away, take care of these things when ordering food from outside:

The person who comes to deliver your food or packets should not take the goods directly but ask them to keep it at a short distance. Contactless delivery will ensure that your hands will not come into contact with germ surfaces. Wash or sanitize the hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds when you go out of the house or come back to pick up the luggage. Clean the packet thoroughly with the alcohol wipe or sanitizer. Remove the food from the package and immediately place it in a clean spot in your home. This will keep you away from packet germs. If you are going to a market or packing food, keep in mind that you maintain a social distance from all. Wearing masks so that infection does not reach the body through your breath. Unless necessary, avoid touching any surfaces. Do not touch your face and mouth, so infection can easily enter your body.

In addition to these precautions, you should eat as many vitamin C items as possible to increase your immunization. Eat nutritionally-rich food so that your immunity is boosted.
