According to the report, the hiring activities in cities have declined by more than 50%. Talking about metros, there has been a decline of 68% in Kolkata, 67% in Delhi, and 67% in Mumbai. In Kolkata, the highest auto and ancillary in the reclamation activities have declined by 98% and the hospitality sector by 94%.
The hiring activity in Delhi NCR has declined by 94% in the hospitality sector and 81% in the accounting industry. According to the report, a negative growth of double-digit has been recorded in the recruitment activities at all experience levels.
If we talk about Mumbai, the hiring activities have fallen to 93% in the hospitality sector and 80% in the auto sector in the month of May. The recruitment activities in all experience levels have fallen by an average of 64%.
