Indian Railways Latest Update: You have big news if you have also purchased a rail ticket. Millions of people ride trains every day. Therefore, whether you intend to purchase a train ticket or if you already have, be aware that the Railways have altered the rules. The new rules that Railways has announced governing the buying of train tickets will benefit the passengers.

Today, we'll discuss a train regulation that allows you to transfer your ticket to anyone. In other words, a passenger may give a ticket to a family member, such as a mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter, husband, or wife.

To whom can you transfer my ticket?

Only members of your immediate family, such as parents, siblings, sons, daughters, or your wife, are permitted to transfer tickets, according to railway regulations. Your closest friends will not be able to travel on your ticket as a result.

How to transfer?

You must first take the printed copy of the ticket to the nearest railway station to transfer it. Bring identity proof for the person whose ticket is being transferred, such as an Aadhaar card. When applying, you must request a ticket transfer.

The transfer has to be done 24 hours in advance.

To transfer a ticket to someone else's name, per railway regulations, you must apply 24 hours before. You must apply 48 hours in advance if you wish to attend the wedding.

You only get one chance.

Permit me to inform you that you may only change the name on your ticket once; you may not do it repeatedly.
