Italian superbike company Benelli is now preparing to give a tough fight to two strong rivals Royal Enfield and Java in India. Benelli launched its Imperiale 400 model on Tuesday. With this launching, another company entered the classic segment of the Indian bike market. On the launching of the superbike, Vikas Jhabakh, managing director of Benelli India, said that we are confident that this model will dominate the Indian market. Superbikes of this model of Benelli are in silver color, then its ex-showroom price is Rs 1.69 lakh. At the same time, extras of Rs 10,000 will have to be paid for black and red colors. Talking about length x width x height of Imperiale 400, it is 2170 x 820 x 1120 (mm) respectively. The wheelbase is 1440 mm while the seat height is 780 mm. Similarly, the capacity of the fuel tank is 12 liters. While curb weight i.e. actual weight is 205 kg.
This model of Benelli has a 374 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It produces 21 horsepower power at 5500 RPM and torque of 29 Nm at 4,500 RPM. Electronically fuel injected engines power the rear wheel through a chain drive and a five-speed gearbox. The front of this bike with a sporty look is quite attractive.
