In March 2023, the bank will see 12 days of holidays—including weekends. Thus, do everything you need to do for your bank this month without delay. The first and third Saturdays of every month are still business days for banks in India, whereas the second and fourth Saturdays are bank holidays. Therefore, per the RBI calendar, all commercial and public sector banks will remain closed for 12 days in March 2023. Below is a list of all the bank holidays for March.

Banks might also be closed on all public holidays depending on the state's regional holidays. However, such regional holidays are not included on the official RBI website because the different state governments determine them.

The Central Bank of India divides holidays into three groups. Holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act; Real-Time Gross Settlement Vacation.
