RBI has revised the list of bank holidays for November. In November, there will be 10 days off from work. However, the upcoming week is crucial regarding bank holidays because the next week will be 4 days when the bank is closed.

Bank holidays for the next week.

The first banking holiday will occur the week of November 8. On November 8, all banks will be closed in observance of Guru Nanak Jayanti/Kartika Purnima, except those in Agartala, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Gangtok, Guwahati, Imphal, Kochi, Panaji, Patna, Shillong, and Thiruvananthapuram.

On November 11, the banks in Bengaluru and Imphal will be closed in observance of Kanakdas Jayanti and Bangla Mahotsav. Following this, there will be a nationwide holiday in all banks on December 12 and 13 due to the second Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

This work will be affected.

The closing of banks has an impact on many different forms of work. For instance, you might need to visit the bank branch to close an account or transfer the account. Aside from this, updating the address by biometric or signature proof may need a trip to the bank branch. If you must undertake any of these tasks, wait until you have reviewed the list of holidays before leaving the house. Aside from this, your significant check payment may become stuck owing to the bank holiday.

Much banking work is done by mobile too.

Today, the majority of work is completed on mobile devices, through internet banking, or other digital means. Even many banks have begun offering WhatsApp financial services.
