The current fiscal year 2022–2023 will soon come to an end. There will be some important changes after March 31 as the new fiscal year 2023–24 begins on April 1. Banks and money play a direct role in these transformations. The bank holidays in April 2023 should be known to all bank customers. You can start planning now if April also involves some work for the bank. You should also be aware of state-specific bank holidays in this case.

Banks will be closed for 15 days in April 2023.

The Reserve Bank of India oversees most of the national banks' operations (RBI). Holidays are chosen only with the Reserve Bank's approval (RBI). Except for the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, government and private banks are closed on Sundays. Let us inform you that there will be a 15-day holiday in April next year. The RBI regulation states that banks will be closed for 15 days in April 2023, including Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays.
