We are always told not to eat some unhealthy foods like whole eggs as they are packed with huge amount of sugar with the element of fat. The truth is that these foods have log-jammed in culinary court. Hence, we are discussing some foods that are thought to be unhealthy but are healthy.
Egg Yolks– Egg yolks are the powerhouse of nutrition. They are the richest source of choline that is essential for neurological function. Choline also help to produce happiness hormones such as serotonin, dopamine. They are also rich in lutein and zeaxanthin that protect against vision loss.
Bananas– Bananas get a bad reputation as they are high in carbohydrates and calories as compared to other fruits. Although, bananas have low glycaemic load and are low in fat and sodium, and packed with vitamin A, potassium, folic acid, and fibre.
Beer– Beer is a part of healthy diet. It has no cholesterol, fat, or nitrates and is loaded with carbohydrates, selenium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, iron, biotin, calcium, folic acid, niacin, B-vitamins, and antioxidants.
Bread– The 100 percent of whole grain is nutritious. Whole grains have every part of the kernel, the bran, germ and starchy endosperm. High-fibre refers to food with 20 percent or more daily value for fibre. Bread must be a major source of fibre in the diet.
Cow’s Milk– Cow’s milk has around 8 grams of protein while other milks have 1 gram of protein per cup. Each serving provides 1/3 of daily requirement of vitamin D and calcium.
Potatoes– Potatoes are one of the nutritious foods on the planet. They provide a feeling of fullness and has many nutrients like potassium, vitamin C, fibre, calcium, and magnesium. You can also, bake and roast potatoes as the nutrients leach into the cooking water.
