The much-awaited higher end model of Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 pro, is all set to launch next week. Redmi President Lu Weibing confirmed the news of the launch in addition with all the new features that are being added to the model. Redmi Note 7 pro will probably be launched with Redmi Note 7 on February 28th.
Redmi Note 7 pro is all set to sport 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 camera sensor unlike Redmi Note 7 that is equipped with 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor and a Snapdragon 660 SoC. Weibing gave hints of the launch date to be around 28th Feb as he did with the pricing which he indicated to be around CNY 2,000 (roughly Rs. 21,200). Moreover, the pro version is expected to be paired with Snapdragon 675 chipset and with 6GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage which is a major upgrade from the Redmi Note 7 older Snapdragon 660 chipset.
Redmi Note 7 pro will have a 6.3-inch IPS LCD waterdrop notch display with 4000 mAh battery capacity. The front camera has 13 megapixel resolution and the rear stands at 48 megapixels and 5 megapixels. The design of the pro version is expected to be in line with the Redmi note 7 to have waterdrop-styled notch and glass back. It could also sport the same gradient colour design as the previous one and can be expected to come in black, blue and red colour.
